Shipping Policy

We carefully package and ship each order from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, ensuring your artwork arrives safely and in excellent condition.

Processing Time

  • Original artwork: Ships within 3–7 business days after full payment is received.

  • Art prints: Made to order — please allow 5–10 business days for printing before shipment.

  • Commissions: Timelines vary; shipping occurs once the final payment has been received and the artwork is complete.

  • You’ll receive an email with tracking information when your order ships.

Shipping Methods

We use reliable carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, or FedEx, depending on your location and the item size.
You’ll be able to track your order once it’s dispatched.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Within Canada: 3–10 business days

  • United States: 7–21 business days

  • International: 10–30 business days, depending on destination and customs clearance

These are estimates — actual delivery times may vary due to weather, customs delays, or postal service disruptions.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or local taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
Please check with your local customs office for details.

Packaging

  • Original paintings are protected with archival wrapping and sturdy shipping boxes or tubes.

  • Prints are shipped flat (for smaller sizes) or rolled in tubes (for larger sizes).

  • We reuse packaging materials when possible to minimize waste.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your tracking link for updates.

  2. Contact your local postal service first — most delays are resolved this way.

  3. If your package appears lost after 30 days, contact katinthestudio@gmail.com and we’ll help investigate.

We are not responsible for lost or delayed shipments caused by postal or customs issues beyond our control, but we’ll do our best to assist you.

Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Take clear photos of the artwork, packaging, and shipping label.

  2. Contact katinthestudio@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.

  3. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund once verified.
